DESCRIPTION

Vintage large oil on canvas retro painting by Shari Michaud. This large framed bedroom scene depicts a family at various degrees of rest. The male figure is reclining on a bed and the child playing on the floor are both being observed by the female figure leaning back in a a wicker style chair. It initiates a lazy morning or a hot afternoon with the bright light seeping in through the shades of the window. The warm yellows and oranges also intimate a sunny desert type climate or location. This actually ties in well with the artistic style and concepts realized by Shari Michaud who is inspired by her local Moab landscapes and items in Moab, Utah.

Shari Michaud is an up and coming artist originally from Utah she spent time selling her art in California and has now settled back into Moab in Utah. Her original works are displayed at Tumbleweed at 31 North Main Street, Moab, Utah and Gallery Moab Fine Art, at 87 North Main Street, Moab, Utah.

This would make a great wall hanging for any eclectic home or a great housewarming gift.

Framed Painting measures 54" long by 35.5" tall (canvas measures 48" x 30") and weighs 10lb 4oz.

CONDITION

In nice condition with great color definition. There are 2 areas of small paint chipping loss. The first is to the right of the mans arm which is hanging out of the bed and the second is to the right of the top pf the plant on the right side of the painting (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
