Working art deco hat stretcher. Base is cast metal decorated with typical art deco chevrons in forest green. Actual hat stretcher molds are cast aluminum which heats up very quickly. Complete with its original sizing plate it is fully functional and aesthetically typifies industry and style of the 1920's. The manufacturing name has been removed on the sizing plate but it looks like a Garve. A great addition to your millinery collection.

MEASUREMENTS

Art deco hat stretcher measures 6.25“ wide by 17.5“ long by 11.5“ tall and weighs almost 20 lbs.

CONDITION

In good used condition with signs of use commensurate with age, some light surface rust on the spindle and a fray on the cord near the plug but no wires are exposed(please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
