DESCRIPTION
A fine leather antique vanity case & 9-piece silverplate and ivorine vanity set, retailed through Mappin and Webb, London, circa 1913. This gentlemans traveling vanity bag includes 5 glass bottles, ivorine brush, ivorine page turner, ivorine glove stretcher and notebook. Most pieces are marked with the previous owners initials MEC.
The leather case is marked Mappin and Webb and 158 - 162 Oxford St, London dating the piece to the early 1910 era
