DESCRIPTION

Vintage 1939 10k gold Temperance pin and medal. Vintage pin back medal presented by the Sisters of Providence as a prize for promoting the views of alcohol abstinence. This was part of the WCTU who promoted oral and written competitions throughout the USA and England in the 19th and early 20th century.
