Vintage Advertising Edison Mazda Lamp Measuring Tape
Vintage cloth sewing measuring tape. Vintage celluloid compression activated measuring tape from the late 1920's/30's advertising the Wenona light and power company in Illinois. Their claim was that that they were the only rivals of the Edison Mazda Lamp company which was the worlds largest. Made by the Whitehead and Hoag co in New Jersey. This practical tape measure was a promotional tool given away when you signed a contract with the company.
A great addition to your vintage sewing, celluloid, light bulb or tape measure collection.
