DESCRIPTION

Vintage French advertising ceramic match holder and striker. Advertising Apollinaris liquor this blue and white cafe match strike has a ridged center for striking the matches. This most likely dates from the 1920's- 1940's when these advertising items were to be found abundantly in bars and cafes through France. It was part of a large collection purchased from a match strike and inkwell collector recently.

This would suit any living room or smoking parlor, be used on a dining room table as a toothpick or candle holder when entertaining. A great housewarming or early holiday gift idea.

Match Holder measures 3.5“ diameter by 3“ tall and weighs 10oz.

CONDITION

This match holder is in good functional condition with some small signs of age and use - I have not attempted to clean this - please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
