DESCRIPTION

Vintage tigers eye sculpture of Foo dogs. Intricately carved from one solid piece of tigers eye stone this sculpture depicts a playful qilin or guardian lion (known more as a Foo dog) playing with a ball. A small pup is playing with the larger Foo dogs back leg which is distracting the front dog. This one piece sculpture sits on its original intricately carved wooden plinth which has inserts specifically carved for the animals pads. The tiger stone has a reflective sheen which makes the foo dogs appear to change color as the sculpture is moved.

A great addition to your vintage Asian sculpture collection or home decor.

Item measures 9.5“ long by 3.5“ wide by 4" tall and weighs 2lbs 2oz not including stand.
