1940s Sterling Silver British Compact Mirror
Vintage British sterling silver ( lion passant) hall mark compact mirror made in 1948 (X) in Chester (three wheatsheafs) by Clark & Sewell possibly (C & S). Machine engine turning decor on both sides of the vintage compact with a monogrammed cartouche in the bottom front with the initial MF in script. Like all high end sterling silver it is has hall marks on both sides of the silver. The silver foil of the compact mirror has lost its reflection which could be replaced easily. A great addition to any sterling silver or vintage compact collector from a mint which no longer exists.
MEASUREMENTS
Compact mirror measures 2.75" square by 0.35" thick.
