DESCRIPTION
Antique Victorian table top dinner bell. Comprising of two cow horns in silver plated mountings attached to a wooden plinth with a silver plate bell suspended from the center. The plinth retains both the original holder and ringer. Originally used in a rich household as a dinner bell ringer in the late 19th century this resonating bell would not only make a great display item but is still a functional bell in a Victorian style property.
A great addition to your art collectibles or home decor.
MEASUREMENTS
Gong measures 12.75" tall by 14.75" wide by 6.5" deep and weighs 5lb 5oz.
CONDITION
In good working condition considering age and use. There are some sign of age to the wooden base and the metal would benefit from cleaning - please see all pictures as they form part of the description.
