Standard World War 1 British binoculars made by J Cripps. These field officers binoculars are marked on the case by the company J Cripps for production in 1916. The binoculars are complete with the original leather case. The serial number of the binoculars and broad arrow corresponds for the period of manufacture as WW1 so it is probable that they were used in action.
