Antique Victorian Mahogany British Police Truncheon
Antique British Victorian police mans truncheon. Monikered in gold leaf with the VR initials for Victoria Regina under the royal crown. Made by the McNaughton of Glasgow this hard wood beat baton was a standard issue to police constables in Victorian England and appears to be made from mahogany.

This would make a great birthday gift or as a great addition to any Victorian display.

CONDITION
In good condition considering age and use. The wood at the end of the handle has chipped off over time where it would have been round (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
