Prohibition Ceremonial Medal Necklace

  • $ 45000

Antique collection of 13 Victorian silver prohibition pins on a striped sash. This antique collection of silver pins is for oratorial recitations at Prohibition party conferences. These vintage ceremonial medals have varying dates and recipients from all over the USA.

Each pin back medal is marked: Prohibition Prize on the front and then the back has the name of the prize winner and the year. They mostly date from the 1890s to early 1900's.

A great addition to your prohibition movement collection or late Victorian society collection..

MEASUREMENTS

Prohibition necklace measures 29“ long and weighs 2.8oz. Each pin measures 2" long by 1.25" wide.

CONDITION

In good used condition with signs of use commensurate with age. The individual silver pins remain unpolished as I would rather sell them with the original patina but it would be easy to clean them (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
