Rare Washington Temperance Society House of Temperance Coin by Robert Lovett Sr
Antique Washington Temperance society medal depicting the head of George Washington on one side and a Temperance household on the other. This vintage medal depicts a house of Temperance which is representative of Washington's own household. This white metal medal was struck by the die make Robert Lovett Sr in New York between 1840 and 1849 and is popularly referred to as the Baker 329B.

A great addition to your rare medal collection, Washington, Presidential or Temperance movement collection. This was part of a large Temperance estate comprising mostly 19th century piece from Britain, Ireland, Canada and the USA.
MEASUREMENTS
Medal measures 1.75"diameter and weighs 0.8 oz.
CONDITION
In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age, a hole has been drilled through the top in order to suspend it either from a ribbon or a watch chain. (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
