Very rare 1681 edition of the important medical book Opera Medica by SYLVIUS, Franciscus Deleboe. Binding is strong, with all text readable. A great reference book from the 17th century which was up to date at the time. There are no illustrations other than the frontispiece. This would make a great display item for either a medical center or museum.

MEASUREMENTS

Book measures 14" long by 9" wide by 2.5" deep and weighs 5lb 7oz.

CONDITION

In good condition considering age and use. The front page has some creasing, a couple of the back pages are loose along the bottom of the spine. There is water staining to the bottom of several of the pages. There is wear and tear to the top and bottom of the leather cover specifically at the top and bottom of the spine (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description). This is to be expected of any book that is over 300 years old.
