Vintage 1930s oil on canvas street scene painting. Naive street scene of what appears to be a European Alpine village as taken from the perspective of the corner of a plaza. Painted in 1938 by M Simonet this simple piece has a Lowry style about it being primitive in style. Colorfully painted with even tones it appears to be a busy small town bustling with activity as depicted by a sunday painter.
