Alphonse Mucha Artists Proof Study Print
Vintage artist proof studies of Alphonse Mucha prints on Arches woven paper. Reprinted from the original plates by his grandson and rereleased in by the Mucha Foundation. This print is not titled (simply plate 9) but is most likely part of his document decoratif plate series which has all of Muchas typical attributes. This depicts a sensual lady scantily clad leaning forward in a seductive manner as she lays on a polar bear rug. This was part of a series which was sent from the foundation to its printer to establish which paper and tones were to be used for the final print.
