Antique original 18th century printed manuscript of the play by R Dodsley. Printed in 1743 for Richard Dodsley at Tullys Head in Pall Mall this is the fifth part of his play called "The Complaint" or "Night Thoughts on Life,Death and Immortality". This was sold by Michael Cooper at the Globe in Pater Noster Row. The original author associated with this piece is given as Edward Young (1683- 1765) and being originally a long poem published in 9 parts or nights between 1752 and 1745. This being part 5 published in 1743 is compiled into a 60 page manuscript.

A great addition to any antique paper ephemera or play collection. This would make great holiday gift.

Manuscript measures 11" long by 8.5" wide and weighs under 5 oz.

CONDITION

In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age, some tears to the side but not affecting the text (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
