Antique Scottish Horn Tobacco Snuff Mull Sterling Silver Georgian Thistle Decor

  • $ 29500

DESCRIPTION

Early 19th century Georgian Scottish snuff mull. This small tobacco snuff mull is made from rams horn and sterling silver mounts, one depicting a thistle. The rim, hinge and blank cartouche are not marked but test for sterling as this was most likely made locally for a provincial patron. This piece dates to the early 19th century either George or William IV.

This would make a great addition to your primitive home decor, vintage snuff or horn collection.
