Antique set of 3 WW1 military medals. The first is a British WW1 participation medal, the second is an American WW1 participation and the third is an American Legion 40 Hommes 8 Cheveaux-brass ribbon & medal

The inscription on the rim of the round medal says 859879 A S SJT G W RENNIE 20-CAN INF

La Societe des Quarante Hommes is an honor organization of U. S. veterans, more commonly known as the Forty & Eight. The Forty & Eight was founded in 1920 by American veterans returning from France.
