Signed Folk Art Oil Painting by Diana ~ Train & Hot Air Balloon
Vintage western folk art oil on board. Original signed oil painting depicting the laying of the railway through the mid west. This primitive painting has all the facets associated with primitive art of the western genre, the railway, the prairie, cowboys, indians, prospectors, settlers with conestoga wagons and even a hot air balloon. The artist has used a great palette range which reveals the subjects distinctly from a distance. I believe this dates from the 1970's due to the medium used to paint on. The title of this painting appears to be "See America First".
Signed: Diana

This would make a fabulous housewarming gift, birthday or seasonal gift for any art or primitive collector.
