Vintage sports memorabilia. Vintage 1945 Dartmouth green felt banner made for the college team in 1945 with original logo patch in leather. The green felt is bordered and overlaid with the Dartmouth name and year of 1945. The leather college seal contains its coat of arms and Latin motto, "Vox clamantis in deserto," which translates into English as “the voice of one crying out in the wilderness.”

Vintage green and white felt banner measures 46.5" long by 22" wide and weighs 11.4oz.

CONDITION

In good condition with signs of use commensurate with age. There are several small holes through out the felt. These would not be incredibly noticeable if this piece was framed against a dark background (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
