DESCRIPTION

Vintage French advertising ceramic match striker and holder. vintage 1920's, 1930's cafe match strike made by Le Pyrogene of Paris for Dubonnet liquor. This suggests that dubonnet is great with tonic water, there are other variants of this but the green color is not common. This most likely dates from the 1920's- 1940's. It was part of a large collection purchased from a match strike and inkwell collector recently.

This would suit any living room or smoking parlor now or be used on a dining room table as a toothpick holder when entertaining. A great housewarming or early holiday gift idea.

CONDITION

This match holder is in good functional condition with some small signs of age and use - I have not attempted to clean this - please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
